Corrosion Resistant Bearings
High corrosion-resistant bearings are applicable in corrosive environments such as water, weak acid and alkali, and strong acid and reactive gas.
High corrosion-resistant bearings include stainless steel bearings, ceramic bearings outperform under the toughest of conditions. Used in industries such as food processing, chemical, bottling, pharmaceutical and agricultural, however, they can be used for any application where hygiene is essential.

Stainless Steel Bearings

Ceramic Bearing
Stainless steel bearings are commonly used in marine environments but 440 grade stainless steel has a limited resistance to seawater or salt spray. 316 grade stainless steel bearings which is also known as marine grade stainless steel due to its ability to be used in marine applications above the water line or in flowing water.
Full ceramic bearings, made from zirconia or silicon nitride with PEEK cages and seals, offer excellent corrosion resistance in a marine environment. Ceramic bearings are not affected by seawater so they can be used in marine environments where they are permanently submerged and can cope with higher loads.
